GRAY'S LLAMA NURSERY TOUR

When decorating the nursery for our second baby, I wanted to go with lots of neutrals, wooden details, and aztec inspired prints. Like many projects, my Pinterest board was overflowing with great ideas but I hadn't found the central theme. That all changed soon after we found out we were expecting a boy and the amazing Nate Berkus graced the baby aisles of Target with his adorable llama inspired nursery line. His designs perfectly lined up with what I had dreamed in my head. It was if I had created it myself. I became obsessed with the desert prints, mint blue details, and the fuzzy llama printed sheets. I had found the inspiration I needed and knew this was the theme to carry into Gray's nursery.

The nesting bug hit me much later in my pregnancy with Gray than it did with Pearl. It wasn't until about four weeks before my due date that I decided we better get started on his room! My sister-in-law, Brooke, came over to help style the shelves and figure out the furniture layout of the room. If professional shelf styling was a thing, she would be one of the greats. Seriously, she basically invented the #shelfie.

I was able to pull items from other rooms and incorperate pieces that I had thrifted over the years. This room is by far my favorite room in our house.
